Camping Club

Round Angles Camping Club (RACC) is an outdoor recreation club based in Norfolk, UK.

RACC was founded in 2017 by a group of friends and their families who simply enjoy getting outdoors: setting camp, the countryside, the nature, the activities, the cooking, the socialising, the sunsets, the campfires and the wonderful, wonderful stars.

As our children grew, so too did their love for the same camping adventures. And as our number increased and our lives became busier, the events became more organised.

In 2021 RACC was formerly recognised as an organisation – a camping club.

As a result, the club has exemptions from Natural England for change of use planning permission and campsite licensing. This provides RACC with the necessary freedom to coordinate and manage events to its own standards.

RACC is also able to extend these exemptions and certify other locations that can adhere to the club’s values for the purpose of recreational camping and caravanning.

All RACC camping activities are centred on respect for the countryside with a focus on minimising impact on the environment.

All RACC camping operations are designed with a greener and more sustainable approach in mind.

As a club, in principle, we encourage a zero-waste philosophy.

In doing so, we impart to our children a sense of awareness for their place in the natural landscape and, in turn, inform their decisions as they grow into their own modern home lives.

Recreational camping or caravanning rallies and certified sites by RACC may only operate within the guidelines set out by Natural England and the parameters of any certification agreement.

RACC membership is free and open to any person of any age and is automatic upon lawful and RACC-permitted entry to any site exclusively occupied or operated by RACC.
