Certified Campsites

RACC is a recognised unincorporated organisation that has been issued an exemption for change of use planning permission and camping and caravan site licensing in England by Natural England.

This means, following appropriate procedures, RACC is permitted to organise club rallies and assess and certify locations for year-round recreational camping and caravanning activities.

This does not mean land occupied or certified by RACC is exempt from any form of development planning (buildings, landscaping etc.) that would normally require planning approval or habitat regulations assessment.

Recreational camping or caravanning rallies and certified sites by RACC may only operate within the guidelines set out by Natural England and the parameters of any certification agreement.
